Attendees Testimonials

Fred Turbin, Ridgefield, Phsyciatrist

"It was wonderful to see the issues of bullying given attention. The evening was wonderful in every way. The speakers as well as the superb food."

Anna O'Rourke, Principal, St. Mary's School, Ridgefield CT

"The Don't Be Silent Organization helps to shed light on those who suffer due to the lack of kindness and compassion from others. The dinner event helped to give a voice to the voiceless and a face to the faceless victims."

Mimi Herald, Teacher, Ridgefield Public School

"During an evening that included spectacular food and terrific music, I listened and learned and yes even laughed! I met some wonderful people whose enthusiasm and passion was transformative. I left with a commitment to continue this important dialog about bringing bullying to an end with my colleagues. I'm so glad I didn't think twice about accepting the opportunity to attend this event from a generous sponsor."

The first Don't Be Silent Anti-Bullying Gala on October 21st, was a moving event that shed light on the seriousness of bullying in today's society. The various speakers at this successful fund raiser in Ridgefield both opened and brought tears to, many eyes that evening, with personal stories of bullying and its often tragic results. We thoroughly enjoyed the speakers narratives; the camaraderie of our fellow attendees; the silent auction; the delicious dinner; and the lively entertainment and dancing. We are happy to support this worthy cause, and look forward to the next Don't Be Silent event."
